Today was our second day in class. And it was nothing less than amazing. Absolutely surpassed my expectations! I cannot get enough of His Word.
We started the morning off getting some fresh fruit for breakfast at the market across the street from school. Yesterday we did waffles (mine was stuffed with chocolate :)) so today we thought we would change things up just a bit!
Durian fruit. It smelled incredibly weird (rotten!!!), but I didn't have the courage to try it just yet!
Class was great. We grabbed some lunch with friends at the food court across the street. I ordered pork cha sui rice with honey sauce. It was very very good! And decided to go with white grape juice for a change.
Here are a few pictures of school. It is located in the bomb shelter in building 241! Pretty cool!
Singapore version of a to-go cup!! It's a bag drink that you hang while you eat! Weirdddddd!
Their version of "diet coke"
Cynthia's mom made this. It is bak zhang, a rice dumpling wrapped in leaf. It is custom to make it this time of year for their festival. She brought this to class so us Americans to try more of their culture! Very interesting. Sticky rice!
