Day 18

Today was the most relaxing day we have had here yet! I didn't get out of bed until 11:30ish. I went downstairs to eat my breakfast (banana's and peanut butter), watched some Pawn Stars, came back up to my room to read my Bible, then took a  nap all before leaving for church at 4:45. Very nice!
We waited on the bus to take us to church for 25 minutes, it never came. So we got a cab! And the cab driver was a cute little old man! He reminded me of my Papa back home, which made me smile. I miss him so much, especially since today is Father's Day and he is the best grandpa in the world, and the best example of a father/husband in my life. Love you, Poppa! I am also missing my brother, Jacob, who is the best dad to my sweet little Hayden! He has grown so much over the last 6 years since Hayden has been born and I am so proud of who he has become. Hayden is so blessed to have such a great, caring father.

Church tonight was great! Pastor Steven preached on the gift of prophecy! We have been learning a lot about prophecy in class, and I feel its a topic I never get tired of hearing about. I love Pastor Steven's teachings/preaching's. I am so blessed to sit under him daily, learning from a great example!
After church, we all went next door to McDonalds! No complaints here! I love that place! Here, the McDonalds come with an option of French fries, or corn cup. I decided to be local-ish and get the corn cup! It was good once I added the butter, salt, and pepper. But a little different to be eating it with my chicken sandwich.

Us all at McDonalds

On the way home, it started to pour down raining! We still have a 7-ish minute walk home from the bus stop, so needless to say, we got drenched! It was really fun though to play in the rain with 6 of your roommates! We couldn't stop laughing all together! What a memory!

The only waterproof thing on me, my new glitter jelly shoes!

Happy Fathers Day to the 2 most important fathers in my life!

And to my Heavenly Father who has loved me unconditionally, has endless amount of mercy, and forgives me no matter what. What a true example of a father!
