Today was a pretty regular school day. Class was incredible! We talked about being a bondservant to Christ vs. just a servant. Servants have an ending date according to their contracts. But bondservants willingly choose to live their entire lives to serve their masters. How good!
We also went over the Kher language, the language spoken in Cambodia! We will be getting there next Monday, so we are practicing our language because they say the locals have more respect for you if you just try and speak to them in their native language. Unfortunately, very few Cambodians speak English so we will have quite a time tying to communicate with each other! Good news: Cynthia speaks it!!!! She will be our translator most of the trip I am sure! She has just spent 5 months in Cambodia teaching school! I love her heart! She is so awesome! What can't Cynthia do?! She is fabulous!

As we were leaving class, they gave us bakkwa to take home and enjoy! What is bakkwa you ask? Only the single best thing I have eaten here!!!!! It is like a sweet pork jerky, but much softer. I can describe it as a soft candied bacon! So amazing! But so expensive! So we were really blessed when they not only gave us one bag, but two!!! We were some happy Americans tonight!
