We started off attending the Tiberius Indonesian Church located inside the Marriot Hotel on Orchard Road, the very touristy high end street. Beautiful hotel. Pastor Steven was preaching at two of their services, so we went to see just how different the same message can be taught just by the way the Spirit moves at that time. We did not understand the worship, and the message that Steven was preaching had to be translated. It was really awesome to experience the Holy Spirit's presence in an atmosphere that is totally foreign to you, where you don't understand their language. Though I did not know the words to what they were singing, worship was incredible. People tend to think you need to be in a church, where you understand what is going on, in a controlled environment for the Spirit to show up. But I am here to tell you it is untrue. We were in a hotel, with a foreign language being spoken, in a service completely unstructured waiting on the Spirit to fall, and He did!

After both services ended, we went grab dinner with the other interns. I went get Japanese: prawn and broccoli with smelt roe in a miso cream sauce. Very good! It was really fun to sit with the other interns and fellowship with them. It's awesome to have this opportunity to surround myself for 3months with some of the most incredible men and women of God. They are blessing me so much just in our fellowship. We open up to each other, share ideas, and revelations the Lord gives us daily. They really each are so incredible.
On our way to grab food
Crammed on the MRT rushing to our last service of the day!
Our final service of the day was our regular Sunday night service at The Shelter where Steven preaches. He preached on mercy, and was it amazing. I felt like that entire message was just for me. I don't think about it as much as I should, and I ashamed to admit that I take his mercy and forgiveness for granted. But Steven definitely set me straight tonight, and I am so thankful. His mercy is new every day, but he cannot give it to me without me first giving it to others. He is faithful to forgive, but he cant until I first forgive others. And he will not judge me, as long as I don't judge others. My favorite quote of the night: We get mercy to be merciful and we are merciful to get mercy. How true!! I cant wait for them to post the message online so I can post it on here. I think it is a message I need to hear again, and again to remind me how important those things are. I love my Lord. He is so good to me, even when I don't deserve it. He never gives up on me, and is always there with open arms waiting on me, no matter what. I serve an incredibly loving God.
On our way home, we found a million gross snails. And they are huge here!!
